An Unbearable Sensibility illustrates everyday encounters with art, nature, beauty, through a diaristic approach and an emotive eye.
The contemplation of artistic beauty, the experience of nature, and our place in relation to it, the idea of the existence or absence of higher powers, are instances in which a highly sensitive mind is overloaded with feelings. The images in this series intend to visually convey these occurrences, to represent not the objective physical attributes of their subjects, but rather their emotional content. Photographic imperfections and a degree of abstraction are employed as stylistic evidence of the immaterial nature of the subject matter.
